Farmstead was founded by Jeff, a butcher with over 25 years of experience. He began his career working on farms with livestock before moving into meat processing, giving him deep, hands-on expertise across every stage of the supply chain.
It’s this experience that gives us confidence in his approach to best-practice butchery, strong animal welfare standards, and trusted farming relationships.

Yes, you can! Browse our full range and add whatever meat cuts, seafood and dairy you want. A minimum spend of $59 applies.
"Grass-fed" means cattle must have been primarily fed on pasture. However, some grain supplementation is allowed. Usually, grain is given at the final stages of their lives to increase their weight before market.
"Grass-finished" ensures this practice doesn't happen. To earn the term, beef must come from cattle that have been exclusively fed on grass and forage their entire lives, with no grain supplementation.
This diet ensures the beef is free from any grain influences.
All of our meat is grass-fed and grass-finished.
Grass-fed and grass-finished meat typically has a more robust, intense flavour and is richer in omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants like vitamin E. It is also leaner compared to grain-fed beef, resulting in lower saturated fat intake.
We partner with fisheries and farm that are committed to: responsible practices, transparency, and genuine commitment to doing better by marine environments.
We prioritise line-caught seafood due to its lower bycatch impact. For farmed species, we look for farms that meet strong animal welfare and environmental benchmarks.

Meat is delivered fresh and chilled, not frozen. Seafood and dairy are cold-packed in the same delivery.
If you can't be home to receive it, no need to worry. Every box has insulated lining and packed with frozen cold packs to keep everything fresh until you're ready to grab it.
Once you receive your box, we recommend using it within 3–5 days or popping it in the freezer if you're not ready to cook straight away.
