Fresh not frozen
Very fresh fruit and vegetables. The meat comes fresh not frozen, I like that I can adjust my orders up to a few days before delivery. Money that goes directly to farmers at a good price...

Farmstead was founded by Jeff, a butcher with over 25 years of experience. He began his career managing farms and livestock before moving into meat processing, giving him deep, hands-on expertise across every stage of the supply chain.

We're also committed to best-practice butchery, including ageing select beef cuts for up to 14 days to develop a richer, deeper flavour. Everything is vacuum-sealed to lock in freshness and delivered to your door fresh, never frozen.
Yes! Choose individual cuts and products from our full Farmstead Meats range and build your own. A minimum spend of $59 applies across meat, seafood, and dairy.
Grass-fed means cattle ate grass for most of their lives. Grass-finished means they were on pasture right up until processing. Not grain-finished in a feedlot, which is standard for most supermarket beef. Leaner product, different flavour profile.
Farmed fish are routinely given antibiotics to manage diseases caused by crowded conditions. Wild-caught fish don't carry that issue, it's also more consistent with honest sourcing.
Meat is delivered fresh and chilled, not frozen. Typically 3–5 days shelf life from delivery, but it freezes well if you can't use it in time. Seafood and dairy are cold-packed in the same delivery.
