Ingredients

Everything for 3 servings

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed if frozen
  • 2 small pears, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup Persian fetta or soft goat’s cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tbsp pine nuts
  • A few sprigs fresh thyme or rosemary
  • 1–1½ tbsp honey (to taste)
  • Pinch of sea salt

Method

1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (fan). Line a baking tray with baking paper.

2

Lay the pastry sheet on the tray. Using a fork, prick the centre lightly, leaving a small border around the edges.

3

Arrange the pear slices evenly over the pastry, then scatter with the fetta, pine nuts and herbs. Drizzle with honey and season lightly with salt.

4

Bake for around 20 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden and the pears are tender.

5

Allow to cool slightly, then slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
