We know, we know you're out of ideas to make breakfast fun and exciting, right?
We have a confession to make... banana bread and waffles are our current hyper-fixation, so we thought why not mash them together and turn it into one epic breakfast dish! It's got your fibre from granola, a dash of cinnamon to elevate the flavour, and bananas to save the spotty ones on your bench.
✔️ Way more fun than regular waffles
✔️ Top it however your heat desires
✔️ A zero-waste win that tastes like dessert

Ingredients
-
1.5 Cup Zeally Granola Pecan Sesame & Coconut sugar
- 2 Bananas
- 4 Eggs
- 2 Tbsp Honey
- 2 Tbsp Tahini paste
- 1 Tsp baking powder
- 1/4 Cup milk
- 2 Tbsp mixed nuts
- 1 Tsp cinnamon
-
1 Banana
- 2 Tbsp Tony’s chocolate grated
- 2 Tbsp Honey
Toppings
Directions
To your food processor add all the ingredients for the batter apart from the milk. Blend until a creamy dough consistency, gradually pour the milk into the batter mixture if needed. If you prefer a denser waffle texture add less milk. Once the mixture is well combined. Set aside.
- Start by preparing the waffle maker. Heat up the waffle maker by greasing the waffle maker with non stick spray or oil. Once heated, pour the batter into the waffle maker and repeat.
- Finally for toppings add some fresh banana slices, grated chocolate and drizzle with a little honey.
Recipe Note
We recommend greasing the waffle maker each time in between each waffle.
