Marlivale Farm grow two varieties of rice in their fields in Goolmangar, with this white rice being their polished Tachiminori variety. This is polished leaving about 10% bran on the grain for quick cooking and still a slight nutty taste.
This medium grain rice, Tachiminori, is a Japanese upland variety. This variety of rice holds it’s structure when cooking, leading to a firm bite and is their most versatile rice, great for sushi to salads, and everything in-between. Keep in the fridge or freezer and enjoy within twelve months.
